Dr. Eduardo Urrutia received his DDS degree from the University of El Salvador (1976) and continued as Assistant Professor, Restorative Department, the University of El Salvador from 1976-1979. He completed his Prosthodontic training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (1981), where he also received his Certificate in Maxillo-Facial Prosthetics (1982) and Master of Sciences Degree (1983).
Dr. Urrutia continued as a Clinical Instructor (Removable Prosthodontics) at the University of Alabama until 1983 and moved to Canada in 1983 and set up private practice (Prosthodontics and Dental Implants) in Calgary, AB. He lectured on Maxillo-Facial Prosthetics and Dental Implants at The University of Alberta as well as in Calgary to the Calgary and District Dental Society. He also lectured Internationally and actively contributed to dental education and is an active member of numerous dental organizations and associations.
In his spare time, Dr. Urrutia enjoys running, hiking, bicycling, and traveling. His favorite destination is Barcelona, Spain.
